My name is “Miss” Karen (Deon) Walco. I am a director and co-owner here at Dance Dimensions. I have been teaching dance since 1989 and specialize in tap, jazz, musical theater, and introductory to ballet. I have been dancing since I was a toddler and became more serious about dance when I started competing. I am a local, regional and national champion with numerous awards from many competitions. I have also choreographed for local theater groups such as The Mac Hayden Theater children’s workshops. In 1999, Heather (Sheehan) Pielo and I had decided to keep striving for more achievements and decided to open our own dance school. It was a huge success! I love working in the dance world and receive great fulfillment in the accomplishments of all students I watch grow up. “If we can touch each life in a positive way here at Dance Dimensions, than we have succeeded”.
