Miss Dee is a long time faculty member of Dance Dimensions. This year marks nine years that she has been with us. Her vibrant, sassy, fun, and energetic style engages dancers in a way that will train them for future careers in dance. Miss Dee has traveled all over to train and perform. She has trained over 25 years in almost every genre of dance including jazz, tap, modern, liturgical, ballet, African and her all time favorite hip hop. She has had the great pleasure and opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s top choreographers. Over the past 15 years she been a member and assistant coach to two local professional dance teams, she directed and choreographed for a local performing arts program, she has created and instructed a dance team at one of the local high schools, she has also taught and coached for two local competition studios in which they were awarded numerous awards. Miss Dee has also conducted an high unique intensity hip hop aerobic class at two local colleges and fitness center. A lover of music of all genres, she adores teaching and creating choreography and brings to her Hip-Hop classes a fusion of Hip-Hop, street jazz, african, and dancehall. She pushes her students to pair their inner grooves with precision and emotion while exploring the rhythms and lyrics of the music. In her classes ‘the music drives the movement’. Miss Dee wishes to continue to grow and learn and share her experiences with the community.
