My name is “Miss” Heather (Sheehan) Pielo. I am the director and co-owner here at Dance Dimensions. I teach tap and jazz to all ages and levels. Dancing has been life since I began dancing at age 2, but really became passionate about my sport when I began competing. I have competed locally, regionally, and nationally and am very proud of my accomplishments. Eight years ago, after receiving my degree in Early Childhood Education, I still had a strong desire to keep dancing. In the Fall of 1999, one of my childhood classmates, Karen (Deon) Walco and I decided we would like to open the doors of the dance world to new young students using the techniques and skills we were taught and more. I couldn’t be more proud of what our studio has become today. A nice place for parents to bring their children not only to learn to dance, but also respect, kindness, and a passion for excellence. To quote a line from one of my favorite movies: “The saddest thing in the world is wasted talent”.
